Campus Superstar '07, has finally come to an end after these few months of competition, with Shawn Tok emerging as overall champion. Tonight's show wasn't the best but at least it was the best the student-contestants could come out within limited time.

Over these months, we withnessed the 20 contestants' changes, from superstar wannabes to now confident and popular. Everyone had their own advantage, some were definitely good singers, some with appealing character, some with pure looks, some with unique never-say-die spirit... No matter who won, it didn't really matter i guess, its the experience and the exposure they gain which may help them in future.

I would like to thank September for co-hosting this space here, providing her comments and helping me when i was having some problems with the updating. I would like to also thank regulars who have been reading this space, and maintaining peace here, unlike those forums out there. Thank you!

M1 Shawn

[Duet] On TV, it really looked funny to see you and Teresa on stage holding hands. The key of the song seems too low for both of you. You looked tensed and not into the song. Your he yin pitching was off. But you did a good job by maintaining your posture on stage.

[Choice Song] Good emotions! You captured the the feel and mood of the song. You still need to manage the low keys better. This made your high and kow keys very contrasting. Your jia yin was weak and you only sang it briefly. It was already very impressive for someone of your age to be able to express the feel of the song. Good job.

F2 Keely

[Duet] The duet lacked the chemistry. You could be sweeter in your rendition. You made a small mistake in lyrics, but luckily Zhiyang saved you. Your he yin pitch had problems. However, it was acceptable.

[Choice Song] You looked emotional but you didn't sing emotional enough. Your voca wasn't smooth, and sounded tired. You lacked the power required to sing the song. You were unable to tell the story of the song using your singing.

M1 Shawn
(Standard Song)
The song's key was too low for you, it sounded like you were struggling. There were emotions but couldn't touch. This also caused your rendition lacked the power. You were constantly offbeat. And your jia yin was weak.

(Dance Song)
It was a good start. The key of the song was more suitable this time. Good energy in your performance, however the energy level wasn't your peak. You were rushing during your dance and your singing, the tempo were off all over the song. And some of your tail tone sounded too draggy.

M2 Benjamin
(Standard Song)
You were confident. The emotions were better than Shawn's rendition. Your low key was still unstable. Overall, your rendition was okay. Until, you made the fatal mistake at the jia yin part, you went po yin suddenly.

(Dance Song)
The song has simple and repeating lyrics, and you tried to differentiate them by singing it differently with abit of fun element. You looked and performed confidently. Good interaction with audience and dancers. However, you lacked the power and was breathless towards the end. And you sang the lyrics wrongly several times, jia yin was weak too.

F1 Zhengning

(Standard Song)
Your pitching was terrible, you were constantly out of tune. You were unable to control the low keys and your enunciation was very poor too. You need to improve on your vocial expression. However, the emotions and confident were there in your rendition. Good stage presence too.

(Dance Song)
You had the superstar/diva charisma. Your kou qi was correct. Your dance had the punch, and you looked natural. It was like you were performing at your concert. However, there were still some pitching problem, and your singing lacked the punch.

F2 Keely

(Standard Song)
Your expression of the song feel was much better than Zhengning. I felt your rendition was better than Zhengning's, at least I get the tune of the song from your rendition. However, you lacked the power to bring the rendition to another level. You lost control during the climax and went po yin. Remember to smile more, you looked fierce... :)

(Dance Song)

Your movement on stage looked abit unnatural. Your dance wasn't not fang enough. You kept looking on the floor, like reminding yourself of what to do next. And you were breathless singing and dancing. However, overall its was still okay.

The Results
Marcus & Huixian were eliminated. Both sang a last song, one looked happy, the other was teary. Marcus sang 我可以 at his best with emotions and smiles, while Huixian sang 真的 with tears.

On the other hand, we have our top 4 who will be in the finals competing for the overall champion. They are Shawn, Benjamin, Zhengning & Keely.

The song was too low for you. It sounded draggy and lacked the punch. You were sweet but missed the chirpy-ness. The good thing was, you managed to avoid the weird tone you always sang. Your stage presence was still as good as before - confident. Good luck.

It was obviously too low for you initially, I couldn't hear what you sang. But soon after, you caught the feel right. The whole mood and emotions were there. Overall, you sounded unstable and had pitching problems, but getting the mood right despite the mistakes, means you've got the potential. Good luck.

You were obviously offbeat initially - too fast. But you got the 口气 and feel right. You were able to make the song's mood right. There weren't any obvious mistakes in singing too. Your rendtion was touching. The emotions were felt. However, you lack the power to set the emotions higher. I still prefer A-mei & Carrie Yeo's rendition.

You were still abit unstable during lower notes. There were some pitching problems heard. The jia yin part, you sounded brief and weak. However, you manage to sing the feel right. Its not easy for someone of your age. The emotions were definitely. And your stage presence stint, looked similar but still good.

You sang the song your way. Good effort to make some changes in your rendition. There were ample emotions in your rendition. However, you could have done it better, if you had sang the tail notes differently, not being so forceful and direct, it will sound better. Overall, it was a good job done.

I think you chose a wrong song. Your rendition weren't able to reach the kind of emotion required. It lacked the power and it was not 收放自如enough. You also sang the lyrics wrong at least twice. And there were some tempo problem. However, there wasn't any major mistake and you managed to sing the feel of the song. Good luck.

A good first performance. Your voice was brighter than usual tonight. There was punch in your rendition but abit of tempo and pitching problems. You can actually try singing more fast songs in future. As for your stage presence, you could be more 'supermodel' and confident on stage. You were constantly looking on the floor while dancing, try to avoid it. Overall, a refreshing feel you give to us, not bad.

You were very confident and sexy on stage. Your performance gave out charisma. You were doing your 'thing', but there were difference between your previous dancing act, that is you sang much better and clearly this time. The 口气 you sang, was suitable for the song. Good job.

You were as usual the chirpy Huixian, singing cute songs. Its sort of your genre of music. Your were confident and cheery on stage. Watching your performance makes us happy, because you'll never failed to smile. There was stage presence. This week you managed singing and dancing better.

Your body was abit stiff, looked shy and reserved on stage doing dance. There wasn't any punch in your dance and singing. I like your voice, but you didn't sing the song well enough. If you had a little more confidence, you wouldn't done better. 加油 satay!

The keys initially sounded too low for you, but later it sounded better. You were showing abit of your playful character during your performance, but could have done more. There wasn't any punch in your rendition. However, it was still an acceptable performance, not bad.

At first i thought it was weird seeing you sing fast song. Your enunciation was bad. You head was tilted up and when you nodded your head with the rhythem it looked abit funny. But you simply had the superstar charisma on stage. You were very 放 during your performance tonight, good confidence. And the 假音 part was well sang, even 小猪 won't sing that part during live, but you did.

Your rendition lacked the groove and attitude. You singing sounded abit weird and lacked the power. The performance was boring too. But overall feel was still alright. You had the bad boy attitude but lacks the confidence on stage doing the moves. You didn't maximise the chance to interact with audience.

You capitalised on everything tonight again. You were very cute, and energetic on stage. Your voice was bright and clean. There was of interaction with the audience. 美中不足 was that you were busy remembering what to do next on stage, could see your changed of expression before you wanna do something. Our dear Agnes thought she could control herself. But, when Guo Hao was eliminated out, she couldnt control and collapsed. She was weeping for Guo Hao even during the performance when Guo Hao was judged down by the judges.

Hi. Sorry for the late updates. As explained in the previous post, September was unable to comment for the performance. Anyway, here's h2o's opinion.

M1 Zi Jie

[-h2o-]: [7.0] You chose the right song tonight. Your singing was soft and soothing. Good feel and emotion were present. However, your 假音 sounded weak, like you were out of breath. You also need to use your witty brain to improve stage presence.

M2 Benjamin

[-h2o-]: [6.7] You went offbeat right from the start. Your performance tonight was abit under expectation. Some words's 发音 were weird- heavy 鼻音. Your singing was tight and lacked the power. Overall, your performance was acceptable

M3 Guohao

[-h2o-]: [5.0] ouFrom your singing and expressions, i know you were lacking of the confidence you once displayed. Similarly, i feel your effort too. Generally, your singing techni improved. But you went offpitch and offbeat all over the song. Good luck.

M4 Shawn
[-h2o-]: [6.5] Your low keys sounded muffled if there were more variation between the verses and chorus, your rendition will sound better. Your rendition lacked the emotions. However, your performance was acceptable.

[-h2o-]: [6.8] Your rendition was soft and soothing. It was similar to the original rendition. There were sufficient emotions. A point to note, you were having abit of 音准 problem. Hope to see more surprises from you soon.

Semi Finals 1A Results Show

Sad to say, Agnes was eliminated out. She was ranked the 2nd highest (19.5) with Keely. When Agnes and Zheng Ning, the girl who got the lowest for the performance, were left on the stage, everyone was "praying" hard, hope that their superstar will not be eliminated out. In the end, it's our Agnes who was eliminated out.

The moment Agnes was eliminated out, Shaun and Guo Hao broke down. You can check out the videos at CSS official website.

September: [6.5] I really enjoy your performance. I like the way you presented your rendition. You changed the tunes and sang it your own way. However, your low notes are still weak.

[-h2o-]: [6.5] Your vocal wasnt shou1 fang4 zi4 ru2. At the last chorus, you didnt hit the notes. You were abit offbeat too. However, i like the emotions you displayed in singing. Overall, an acceptable performance.

F2 Huixian

September: [6.8] Hey. You are back. Finally, you kicked the habit of using the weird tone of singing that you used for the last performance. The feeling of the song was there. And you managed the high notes beautifully. But your low notes were abit shaky.

[-h2o-]: [6.2] There were gong4 ming2 problems for the low keys-sounded weird. You went off pitch too. I couldnt feel the emotions. However you managed to save your performance later. Your high notes sounded much better.

F3 Zhengning

September: [6.1] I can say that it is a safe song for you. The low notes were manageable. For the high notes, you sang it too hard. Try to use alternative way to sing high notes. And also, the feelings were absent.

[-h2o-]: [5.5] You went off pitch. Tail voices were weird. There were enunciation problems too. The biggest mistake is the choice of song. You sounded weird. The only good thing is that your singing actually improved. Didnt sound breathless too.

F4 Keely

September: [6.3] Yes, this is one of the performances that got the "feel". I can feel the pain the song wants to tell me. You were abit rushy for the first few words of the chorus, but the rest was okay. I like the way you end the song.

[-h2o-]: [6.5] You didnt manage the low keys well. There were no variation in your rendition, but you managed to sing the emotions. You sang better than your previous performance.

F5 Joanna

September: [6.4] Hello. Nice haircut. For your performance, the 咬字 wasabit unclear. Like what Zheng Ning did, you used your real voice to hit the high notes. But its abit risky as forcing too much can let you go off pitch. There wasnt much climax to the chorus.

[-h2o-]: [6.5] Your vocal was clean and clear. But you sang the song too forceful, and there was no variation in your rendition. However, the emotions were there. Good luck.

Revival Round Results

It was a fast pace and boring revival round. I guess they are stressful, because there's only 1 vacancy for each gender, and the tight programme schedule. Almost all contestants didn't put up their best performance, some didn't improve at all, some crashed after venturing into risk zones, some wasn't even close to standards, and only Jiaqi, Elaine, and Shawn made an impression with their good performance.

After the boring revival round, popularity was the only deciding factor. In the end, Huixian and Shawn managed to beat the rest and be advanced to the semi-finals.

You delivered the song with the required power in singing. A confident and good performance from you, as first appearing contestant. There were parts of the song, when you sounded lack of 气. Junjie, you really started off well. I was touched by your singing initially. In the beginning, you were as good as last week. However, your confidence dropped rapidly, after you slipped and made a mistake. After that, you continued to make other mistakes, went off pitch and couldn't hit the notes. You could have done better.

You got alot of 沙音. Sore throat? The end notes for each sentence sounded "shivering". You are especially weak at the high notes especially towards the end of the song. Can see that you are disappointed.

You choose a very safe song. I thought your rendition didn't have the soul and groove. The feel wasn't there. There was not variation in your rendition too. Overall, no major mistakes, but it was a boring performance.

September says: Its becoming boring. Good ones sent home while the not-so-good ones are able to advance to the next round. Is this competition about fame and popularityor about real singing potentials? Has the standard of such competition [which requires voting] drop? Are we choosing for the best singer or most popular singer? Sianz... 感到很无奈...

[-h2o-] says: Everyone judges things differently, what you seem best may not be the same as another person. The best singer can sing very well, but without popularity no company will risk to invest. The most popular singer may not be the best singer, but he is well-liked by many, then he wins confidence of investors. Idol boy bands can't sing, but why thousands and millions of people go crazy for them?

It was votings which kept some of those contestants with lower singing abilities in, aren't those votings from viewers and supporters? I'm sure they know how to judge good singing and bad singing, but this competition is more than singing. Its a fact... nothing we can do except voting your favourite...

You were very steady when singing the group song, similarly when you sang solo. On stage, you were like a big sister or old time diva - looked experienced and firm. The choice of song tonight, was doubted. Your singing was nice, but it lack the factor to touch. Your rendition didn't have the surposed emotions and feel of the original song. You didn't control the low keys [mostly at the earlier part of song] well, the 抖音 and 拉音 were drifting unsteadily. Overall, you were fine, up to the standards.

[Group] Do take note of the way you walk. After you sang, you walked back using the same hand and same leg.
[Solo]: Can hear that you are trembling when you sang those long notes. Your breathing was too hard and we can hear it from there. There was a little climax to the chorus, but can be more. Do learn to look confidently.

You looked sweet with all the smiles. You sounded nice and sweet for both group and solo song. I was asking myself "Were you singing?" I believe it was one of your better performances so far. You chose the right song and gave it the Agnes treatment. You really sounded extra attractive tonight. And you were lively on stage. A small point to note about your low keys, they still sound abit weak. Good Job! Good luck!

[Group] You were breathless. You should continuously sing that one sentence with one breath but you broke between the words in a line. I find that this song was not quite suitable for you especially the 低音 part.

You sounded unstable during both group and solo song. You made a mistake during group song, you turned away from camera and looked disappointed. During your solo, you sounded like 不够气. Your 拉音 sounded rough, as if your voice 'trip' over stone. You were constantly offbeat too. The good thing is, the attitude and feel of the song were present in your rendition. [Solo] Like elaine, you trembled at those long notes. At the chorus, you couldnt sing it well as you forced too much to your throat. Therefore, causing you to lose the control of your voice at the later part. You voice has some kind of rock element which is suitable for such songs like 逃亡.

You sounded totally different [except for your husky tone] from previous weeks, right from the start you sang your solo. It was great! You found yourself finally. Boy, you didn't disappoint those who voted for you. Your husky voice was at its best in this song. I was abit touched by your singing. It was nice and well sang. However, you need to watch your enunciation problem, because you mumbled alot. You also need to tackle your vocal range limitation by choosing a suitable song for next round, be it semi-finals or revival. Good luck!

[Solo] This song suits you(or just safe for you). However, you are not fang4 enough. You get distracted and you couldnt bring out the feelings of the song. A slight improvement from your previous performance.

No irritating/problematic pitch this week! Your singing improved, you avoided your mistakes and made your singing acceptable. I could see your effort to improve and perform better. The mtv dance steps you danced were some of the evidence of your effort. The song is difficult because of the limited breathing pause, but you managed it well. You were as cute and funny on stage. Your facial expression looked funny to me. And you walked funny too, purposely? You made it all looked right again~ Some point to note, you didn't bring out the surposed attitude of the song and hope you continue to choose songs wisely. Good job! Good luck~

[Solo] There wasnt any groove to the song. After your previous performance, you should reflect on the mistakes you have made and avoid them. But you didnt. I didnt see any improvement. You made use of the stage (which is good). Go home and watch the replay again. You will see yourself walking in a circle again and again. Try to maximise the stage area that is give to you.You had some actions for your song. But your actions remind me of William Hung. One piece of advice- If you want to add actions, please do it well and complete. Put your 100% into it or forget it.

There's no doubt about your singing ability. Your singing was almost perfect, except for minor tempo and pitch problems. The emotions were correct. However you have to note your enunciation problems. Another shocking results show this week.

Joanna was first to advance to the next stage. She was happy of her advancement into the next round, despite being sick and her average performance. Joanna thanked her supporters for voting. Over at the boy's side, Marcus was announced first to advance. Then Huixian and Zijie were annouced to advance. Zijie was looking so serious that the hosts teased him for being different in backstage and frontstage.

At the elimination, it was left with Agnes, Teri, Guohao, and Shawn. Teri was then annouced to be eliminated. She was kinda of speechless, the host asked her to speak in English, and she still quite speechless. After a few seconds of pause, Teri said its was a great experience and happy to be-friend her fellow participants, then thank her supporters. After that, it was Guohao and Shawn on stage awaiting for the results. Most people would have expected Guohao, the lowest scorer to be eliminated, but it was Shawn the popular small boy who was eliminated. Audience in the studio, exclaimed their shocked. Guohao immediately teared. Shawn was still all smiles. He thanked his school and supporters at the interview. Guohao was still tearing when being interviewed, and he thanked his supporters for voting and said that if it wasn't them, he won't be there. Telephone/SMS votings can change fate.

Singing was amateur. There were some 共鸣 problems. Pitch problems all over the place. You sang slightly better from halfway onwards. Though, your singing was average, but you had this X-factor, even when you didn't sing well, it wasn't like an unwatchable performance. Good luck.

Your vocal mesmerised me. Your voice suits the song, 一样好听. You also value-added the visual by making some hand gestures and facial expressions. However, some parts of the song, e.g tail and low keys, were abit rough. Your rendition was not soft and smoothing enough. Overall, a good performance but can be better. Good job girl~

I like your singing. You were groovy, and there was 'punch' in your rendition. When you were on stage with the pink hat, I was looking forward to your performance; The throwing of hat idea was good, displaying the 讨厌, but maybe you could have made use of the hat more before throwing. Overall, a good performance and it shown the different side of you, compared to your previous performance.

This week's performance show was an 'improvement' show. Most contestants who didn't do well in their previous rounds, improved this week. The boys were most improved! Benjamin managed to ditch the JJ's shadow, Fukuan proved his RnB abilities, and Javin chose a better song. As for the girls, only Elaine made an impression with her rendition of 一眼万年, and Zhengning managed to give the judges a different side of her singing abilities.

At the results show, we saw Benjamin first to enter the next stage. He appeared to be very emotional, tears were at the verge of dropping. Keely was the first from the girls side, to advance to the next round. Keely was happy that she could advance despite her 'lower than expectation' performance, which she acknowledged. Then Fukuan and Elaine were announced to advance to the next stage. After being announced her entry, Elaine gave a quick speech and disappeared.

At the elimination, Javin and Junjie were on stage first. Surprisingly, it was Javin who's leaving the stage. He put up a better performance this week. Junjie was totally shocked to know that he is staying. He was later found crying after being interviewed. I guess he is disappointed about himself and sad to know that he is still staying despite his poor performance. I can understand how you're feeling boy, work harder in the next round and prove that you are worthy to stay, 加油!

Then it was Jiajun and Zhengning, the 2 RGS girls. And it was Jiajun who was leaving. The cheery Jiajun was disappointed but was glad that she learnt alot within this period. Zhengning on the other hand, appeared emotional, as Jiajun, her schoolmate is leaving the stage.

Next week, CSS will probably reach one of its climax, just by looking at the contestants you will know its going to be a great show. The cute boyboy Shawn, handsome ego Marcus, diya & carrie backed Zijie, popular entertainer Guohao, sweet-powerpuff Huixian, ang-mo-lish Teri, satay girl Joanna and bubbly babe Agnes, will be competing next week!

Junjie, you need to increase your own confidence and sing the songs the way they should be. Your vocal's nice but singing was okay only. Having the key lowered again, didn't help u. I felt you were singing the song too softly[软], and didn't get the soul of the song. The kind of emotions, kind of 背叛was definitely absence.

This is quite a challenging song. When you reached the chorus, there wasn't any climax. Everything sounded "sian" after a while. Your overall performance was still ok. There should be more punch in the chorus.

Quarter Finals 1B, Results [11/06]

This round of Quarter Finals, the girls were definitely the better singers. The guys were either normal or struggling to stand out with stage presence. During the results show, we saw Guohao, the comical 男佣 first to go thru', then its was Elaine, the sweet vocalist, later it was Zijie, the Diya & Carrie's supporter, and Huixian, the small little powerpuff girl [also the junior of CSS 1 Female Champ, Teresa].

On the stage were Teri, Amy and Jiajun. And it was Amy Chang, the Taiwanese babe being eliminated. Later on stage came, Wilson, Javin, and Benjamin. And it was Wilson, the Tank-alike but Wilber wannabe who got booted out.

The results weren't surprising to me. I thought that being a foreigner on local reality competition is never easy to get sufficient votes; unless you try pulling votes from your fellow-men in Singapore, like what Le Sheng did or you're really rich to dump money into telephone votes. I'm sure Amy is satisfied with the results and is contented to be able to join the top 20. She mentioned in her short farewell speech that she is glad to know the friends she acquainted during this competition and is happy to gain this memorable experience.

As for Wilson Thong, there's no doubt he is cute, or some say good looking. But his singing still needs lots of improvement, even one of the judges told him to rap more, instead of singing. He appeared to be disappointed after knowing the results, but I guess he saw it coming. The funny thing about this results show is that Amy & Wilson are rumoured to be an item, and they were eliminated together on the same day, is it fate, destiny or coincidence? kekez...

I couldn't catch what you sang in first 2-3 lines. Your singing was alright, not many technical, even though your voice isn't special. Maybe you need to brush up your handling of song, because I felt abit of inconsistancy. You were hunch-back, your facial and body language were weird on stage. Other than that, your performance was acceptable.

I feel that your hand gesture and stage presentation didn't match with this song. When you first came out, I thought is some 'ah-beng' walking out. I hope you can try a different genre of song. I dont think this song is suitable for you.

Your rendition of the song had JJ's feel, more like you were imitating him. If you can imitate JJ's vocal, I guess you have a good vocal. I hope you try singing other's song and put JJ's shadow aside. Another thing is that you were constantly short-breath. One thing that made you different from the other contestants is the acting and expressions you made during the singing. It's good that you actually entertain us. You guys might ask why we started this, or are we qualified to judge... Haha.. I guess its because both of us love singing and hope to learn from contestants' mistakes, at the same time share some things we note during the competition. We are definitely NOT qualified to judge, professionably, but we can 'judge' as audience. We are here to share, and talk about CSS the most talked and anticipated competition! :) Feel free to leave us a message to share your thoughts too.

Anyway, I finally got to interview my fellow "judge", September.... haha... Threw her some similar questions from CSS website, to make her feel more like judge... LOL... I also interviewed myself... :p

My KTV 'Must-Sing' songs 我的 KTV 必点歌曲:

Song[s] you don't want to hear the contestants sing 最不想听到参赛者唱哪一首歌？

I am not soo particular about what song i wish to hear. I find that it's the way the singer presented. A "not-so-good" song can be sung nicely when the singer chooses the right techniques to tackle the song.

Who do you have the highest hopes 比赛中最看好谁？

Shawn Tok. He's got the potential. And also, he is the youngest among all other contestants. There's alot of space for him to 发挥. He is the only one who gave me the strongest impression. I am confident that he will advance to the next level easily. In addition, i can really see the massive support from fans. He can be "jie jie killer", "auntie killer". But my worry for Shawn is that he may break his voice during the competition.

I don't wish them sing songs by 李圣杰, 阿杜, 康康, because their songs requires some age to be able to sing the kind of emotions for their songs. I also don't wish to hear them imitating any singers. I hope they can choose songs that they can exhibit their ability and songs they can feel associated with. This will allow them to perform better.

Who do you have the highest hopes 比赛中最看好谁？

I guess its Shawn Tok. He appears to be very impressive, in terms of singing ability, song handling, appearance and popularity. After the few auditions, and first round of competition, we've heard his singing ability. If he continues to performance with standards, with his cute lovable appearance, his fan base will definitely grow. However, he is faced with strong competition from Marcus, Zijie.

As for the girls, it will be a tough fight. Quite a few of them have successful shown their character to audience, and lure enough attention. Furthermore, their singing abilities are quite evenly matched. Keely, Zheng-ning, Joanne, Jiajun, Teri, are definitely IN the race for the title.

Quarter Finals 1, Results

After 2 hours after voting, the first Quarter Finals' result was announced on telecast at 11:30pm. The first 2 contestants booted out of Campus Superstar 2, were F3 Lua Jia Qi & M4 Xu Bin. Being first to leave the competition is definitely not a nice feeling, furthermore it was after so many rounds of auditions. Despite the short duration, i'm sure it was still a memorable experience.

For those who advanced, hope you work harder in the coming rounds. After hearing your singing, I believe you guys have the ability, but only lacks expression of the emotions. Good luck!

You've got the looks, you've got the voice. The emotions were correct. Your rendition was similar to Evan's. But your mistake when singing 假音 affected your overall performance. I'm confident that you will perform better if you choose the right song.

You got the looks. You have a special voice which suits singing slow love song. However, you couldn't reach the high notes. Your 假音 wasn't strong enough. Try not to choose a song that you are not confident with. Can see that you have tried your best.

Your singing was very muffled because you were holding your mike to close to mouth. There were also enunciation problem during your singing. And with a lowered-key, the song became not challenging and plain. However, I agree that your voice is nice and has the flexibility to handle R&B songs.

There wasn't climax. Your voice is too weak. No feel. But you attempted to give eye contact and interact with the audience through some gestures.

Uncle, you vibrated your vocal too much, like singing oldies. Your eyes kept 'running' away from camera. And you tried too hard to outshine in your singing, making your rendition over complicated. However, it was a commendable effort. You've got a good voice, and has potential to do better. Good Luck!

You looked nervous. If you want to look at the camera, look confidently and give eye contact. Your 眼神飘 alot. This is safe choice of song for you, as it didn't show your flaws. Overall, i still like your performance as you presented it in your own way(especially during the short interval to the chorus) You tried a new thing. Good Job!

When you started singing, I had this weird feeling. It was caused by your poor enunciation. Next moment, i thought i was listening to 言承旭 singing. Your singing 口气 sounded wrong too. It was not an interesting performance. You need more training. However, there's no doubt you've got a very good look.

Your singing was quite ok. You should articulate the words more. You got the eye contact with the audience. What you need is more training.

You were incredible! I couldn't believe that voice was yours. You sang the song with adequate emotions, which seems unbelievable for a young boy like you to express it so well. Your singing was 收放自如. The song didn't really test your ability. With more training, I believe you will become even better, and I'm looking forward to more surprises from you. Good Job and Good Luck!

YOU ARE A THREAT TO THE REST OF THE CONTESTANTS!!! If I close my eyes and listen to your singing, I would have mistaken you as someone very mature. And you didn't take up any singing lesson? It's rare to find such a nice voice. YOU GOT THE POTENTIAL! KEEP IT UP, BOY!

You've got a nice vocal. You sang the song nicely, but lacked the emotions required. I felt that you were quite nervous; try to relax, and i bet you will perform better with your vocal assets. You've got a great smile too.

Your vocal power sounded strong. However, you couldn't control the lower keys well and making yourself sounded abit lacking of 气. Your transition (转音) also went off pitch and unstable. You look prettier tonight, but your movement on stage need to look more natural. Relax~

I like your singing, very natural and nice. Normally, singing songs with simple music arrangement have the risk of getting offbeat, but I thought you did quite well. Good emotions. Do watch out for your expression on tv especially your eyes.

You were breathless and unstable. I couldn't hear some words when you sang There was no punch in your rendition. However, it was a good effort making stage presence. You were confident on stage. Try a different song next round, to prove your abilities to the audiences and judges.

You look confident, like a superstar especially when you started to dance. However, fast song is very risky for you, cause you sounded breathless. Instead of focusing the dancing, you should alawys concentrate on the singing. Afterall, it is singing compeition. No climax.
